Position Title: Application Support Technician.

Job Station: Lagos State.

INTRODUCTION:-

Application Support Technician job opportunity is available at Willers Solutions Limited for individuals who possess a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering or Applied Chemistry.

Job Descriptions

• To participate in process improvement projects within the business group
• To participate testing new processes
• To participate in collecting data required to make improvements and modifications
• Overseeing the construction of new plants
• Using and developing process simulation software to work out the best production methods
• Purchasing and installing equipment
• Using scientific principles related to magnitude, momentum, heat transfer etc
• Supervising plant operations
• Investigating and troubleshooting plant / process problems
• Scheduling and coordinating work to tight deadlines and within financial budgets
• Ensuring that equipment works to its specification and to appropriate capacities
• Assessing safety and environmental issues
• Liaising with installation / project engineers and specialists
• Ensuring safe working conditions and compliance with health and safety legislation.
• To provide support to Inside Sales Representatives and Business administrators by managing common mailbox, preparing quotations, verifying model accuracy, entering / creating quotations and orders, sending quotations to customers, and booking orders.
• To review all commercial and technical requirements of customers, enter all information in business systems, and ensuring that all requirements are met
• To work with necessary support groups to make sure the quote and order entry process is executed.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION:-

• B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering or Applied Chemistry
• At least 1.5 years’ experience in related engineering support or functions.
• MS Office Application – MS Outlook and Excel
• Intermediate knowledge in instrumentation and / or relating to process controls
• Engineering Fundamentals
• Basic Product Applications and Specifications of chemicals
