Electrical Engineer Vacancy at S. Lloyd Nigeria Limited

Position Title: Electrical Engineer.

Job Station: Edo State.

INTRODUCTION :-

Electrical Engineer job opportunity is available at S. Lloyd Nigeria Limited for individuals who possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant field.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :-

• Implementing planned / corrective and predictive maintenance on all electrical machines and gargets;
• Ensuring effective maintenance of all electrical components of the machines in the plant/factory (production, packaging etc.);
• Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning equipment, appliances, and apparatus and ensuring minimum downtown;
• Ensuring that tools & parts are well kept & managed at all times;
• Ensuring that the proper and standard operational procedure are strictly adhered to;
• Observing good housekeeping and adhering strictly to safety rules and procedures;
• Executing plans of electrical wiring for well-functioning lighting, intercom and other electrical systems;
• Installing electrical apparatus, fixtures and equipment for alarm and other systems;
• Installing safety and distribution components (e.g. switches, resistors, circuit-breaker panels etc.);
• Preventing breakdown of systems by routinely inspecting and replacing old wiring and insulated cables, cleaning circuits etc.;
• Assessing need of spare parts and following up on the provision;
• Inspection of PLC’s operation and troubleshooting where needed;
• Undertaking any other tasks or duties as required by your line manager

DESIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION :-

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant field;
• Minimum of 6 years cognate experience, preferably in a Manufacturing environment;
• Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g. wire strippers, voltmeter etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints
• Knowledge of PLC, HMI etc. will be an added advantage;
• Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines;
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability;
• Relevant vocational training or successfully completed apprenticeship as an electrician will also be an added advantage;
• Must be residing or willing to relocate to Odighi Community in Edo State.

REMUNERATION :-

• N840,000 – N1,080,000 annually.
