Job Description
- Our client is seeking to hire a qualified and experienced Operations Manager for their fashion. S/he will be responsible for leading, directing, and managing the day-to-day operations of the company.
- S/he will also be expected to provide an oversight of sales, employees, stock, facility, and monitor processes related to customer experience, recruitment, compliance, order fulfillment, compensation & benefits, staff training, and development, all within stipulated standard procedures.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:-
- Manage supply chain and other resources to help minimize costs of production.
- Develop and manage productivity and continuously improve the production team’s capabilities
- Set goals and objectives and establish procedures and policies for various departments in the organization, based on overall company strategy and monitor progress
- Study business forecasts, sales reports and financial statements prepared by the Finance Officer and propose ways to maximize results.
- Manage the production team and ensure all deadlines are met.
Human Resources:
- Determine business needs, hire employees, oversee assignment of employees and planning staff development
- Prepare staff salary schedule
- Monitor employees’ Key Performance Indicators, conduct performance appraisals and provide feedback on performance as required.
- Identify training needs and suggest relevant training to upskill employees.
- Organize and maintain a filing system (online & offline) for important and confidential company documents and ensure documents are easily accessible.
- Help promote a positive company culture where the work can get done and morale is high
- Facilitate efficient communication between employees and departments.
- Resolve minor disputes or disagreements
- Develop and manage productivity and continuously improve the production team’s capabilities
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION:-
- Bachelor’s Degree / HND in Business Administration, Management or a related discipline.
- 3 – 5 years experience in an operations position or a related field.
- Experience in a luxury fashion production environment is a plus.
- Experience in management and leadership is an added advantage.
- High level of professionalism.
- Ability to lead teams and projects from concept to completion.
