Position Title: Fitter - Steel Fabrication, Structural and Welding.

INTRODUCTION :-

Fitter - Steel Fabrication, Structural and Welding job opportunity is available at Sevan Construction Nigeria Limited for individuals who possess relevant qualifications.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :-

To see that all Filters adhere to safety rules.
To make sure that the workshops are cleared of off cuts and wastes
To make sure that disciplinary action is taken against one who defaults.
To make sure that jobs are properly planned out for Foremen/Charge-hand and filters daily.
To ensure that work schedules/targets are achieved daily.
To ensure that workers are well motivated.
To ensure that there is proper and accurate record of workers attendance/man-hour/breakdowns.
To ensure that disciplinary measures are strictly implemented.
To ensure that Management directives are implemented promptly.
To take instructions from supervisors/production manager.
To produce correct markings, cut, grand and fit pipes, plates etc.
To be able to carry out required calculations.
To adhere to all safety, quality, schedule requirements of fitting work.
To be humble and willing to learn for self and others.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION :-

Relevant educational qualifications
Minimum of 5 years working experience in the steel fabrication, construction and welding industry
Additional technical and professional training would be desirable.
Excellent Job task planning and organizing
