Forklift Operator Job at Invent Alliance Limited

Position Title: Forklift Operator.

Job Station: Lagos State.

INTRODUCTION :-

Forklift Operator job opportunity is available at Invent Alliance Limited for individuals who possess OND in any discipline.

The Forklift Operator will be primarily responsible for using the forklift to load and unload materials and deliveries and move them to and from storage areas or storage facilities.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :-

• Unloading materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stacking them with the use of the forklift to assigned places.
• Locate and move stock of products to pallets for storage or shipment.
• Stacking goods in correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions.
• Checking loads are secure.
• Stacking empty pallets.
• Identify damages and report shortages.
• Performing daily equipment check such as recharging the truck’s battery and lubricating equipment.
• Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance.
• Keep updated record of inventory and activity logs.
• Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities.
• Comply with company policies.
• Other duties as assigned.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION :-

• Minimum of OND in any discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in forklift operation.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a forklift operator.
• High degree of attention is required in order to prevent injury to others and promote a safe work place.
• Ability to execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner.
• Valid forklift operation certification(s).
