Position Title: General Manager, Floating LNG Business (FLNG).
Job Station: Nigeria.
INTRODUCTION:-
General Manager, Floating LNG Business (FLNG) job opportunity is available at Floating LNG Business (FLNG) for individuals who possess relevant qualifications.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:-
- The ideal candidate for this role must have a good knowledge of Operational and Technical Practices in an equivalent midstream company. He is expected to have an in-depth knowledge of Gas commercial business structuring, Gas commercial operations, Gas business modelling and economic analysis for decision making, Operational and Technical Practices (OPT) for business value realization and profitability and must have worked in a managerial position for at least 10 years in a reputable midstream Gas/Floating LNG Company with an overall experience of not less than 18 years.
- The candidate must have experience in strategy development, project management, commercial and technical operations, business modeling, economic analysis and contract negotiation as well as possesses sound knowledge of policies, industry risk, regulatory frame work, working knowledge of joint operating agreements, gas sales agreements and transportation contracts.
- He/she must be able to lead and manage multiple and diverse project teams, work in a team environment, and be able to effectively communicate within and outside the company
- Ensure he/her has led multiple and diverse project teams
DESIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION:-
- Minimum of Bachelor of Science (B.Sc,) / Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) Degree in a core engineering discipline, Business Administration, Economics or other science related discipline with a minimum of Second Class, Upper Division.
- A Master’s Degree or equivalent will be an added advantage.
- At least ten (10) years of relevant experience in Gas Engineering and surface facilities at management level
- Proficiency in handling the complete fleet/LNG operations, enabling planning, resource utilization, HSEF management, quality and manpower management
- Analytical thinking, problem solving, creativity
- Ability to explain complex processes in simple terms.
- Ability to pay close attention to detail and maintaining broad spectrum
- Flexible and creative
- Compliance and assurance to processes and regulations
Minimum Knowledge and Experience:
- Lead and manage the team of highly qualified and experienced heads of departments and other professionals to maximize growth and profitability of company’s LNG business specifically and Gas development and commercialization in general
- Oversee the operations of the company and manage its compliance with legal and regulatory bodies/requirements.
- Lead the organization to increase revenue and profitability by optimization of systems and processes as well as create a team environment to increase productivity and optimal performance
- Leading fleet teams for Floating LNG Development and complexities for managing operations and ensuring continuous improvement in quality, cost, safety, downtime reduction with key focus on growth of bottom line profitability by optimization of resources and diversification of business in various areas.
- Overall responsible for the development of midstream (CNG LNG and gas commercialization) opportunities and business engagements with regulators and other relevant stakeholders
- Responsible for overall technical delivery of the FEED and commercial delivery of multiple commercial agreements associated with third parties P/I systems; Oil and Gas Transportation Agreements, lease of platform space, Interconnection Agreements, Producer’s Agreement and Third Party Gas Supply Agreement etc.
- Monitor emerging legislations in the Gas World and provide appropriate advice to the business.
- Identification of Gas business opportunities and maturation of emerging Gas business opportunities for the benefit of the Company.
- Handling grass root and involvement in the selection of technologies, Basic Engineering Detailed Engineering, handling Lump sum Turkey contract construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning
- Provide economic and social analysis support to underpin decisions with respect to gas sales business opportunities.
- Optimize the production of natural gas, or petroleum products and value chain realization.
- Liaising with Legal Department to deliver Gas Commercial Agreements and procedures, where necessary.
- Achieve Stakeholder alignment; maintaining good relationships with Venture Partners.
- Monitoring and ensuring realization of gas projects. Procuring project management – supervision and budgetary control.
- Gathering and analysing market and industry intelligence, metrics and trends to determine customer needs.
- Create gas market and develop matching agreements to ensure profitable sales opportunities.
- Participating in field development planning, for gas development, gas negotiation, sales and marketing
- Perform all other duties that are necessary and reasonably attached to this role and as assigned by the Management of the Company.
