Position Title: Intelligence Fusion Cell (IFC) Analyst.

Intelligence Fusion Cell (IFC) Analyst job opportunity is available at British High Commission (BHC) for individuals who possess relevant qualifications.

Job Descriptions (Roles and Responsibilities)

  • This is an exciting yet demanding role within the IFC that requires the incumbent to collate, process and disseminate intelligence products for key UK mission partners as well as the Nigerian Defence Intelligence Agency, French & US cohorts as well as the wider UK intelligence community.
  • Subordinate to the IFC J2 Chief, the incumbent will report upon the real time strategic and operational intelligence environment in order to provide understanding of Nigeria, specifically, the Northeast Campaign through both qualitative and quantitative analysis.  

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :-

What will the jobholder be expected to achieve?:

  • Provide intelligence updates and threat assessments to support operational understanding and threat awareness;
  • Collate, record, evaluate, analyse and disseminate all source intelligence reporting derived from Nigerian counterparts, P3 mission partners and Open Source intelligence sources;
  • Undertake liaison with Nigerian Intelligence agencies, to include Mil, ONSA, DIA, NIA, Law Enforcement and Host Nation agency’s;
  • Undertake liaison with international intelligence agencies, to include US, FR and other MNJTF partners; primarily focusing on ISR and other sources of intelligence;
  • When the opportunity allows, assist wider UK military J2 functions in Nigeria;
  • Support the leading of skilled intelligence analysts to provide Multi-Int intelligence analysis and products;
  • Utilise J2 reach-back into PJHQ J2, LIFC and the broader UK Intelligence Community to provide intelligence fusion opportunities;
  • Develop relationships with military and non-military actors to improve UK understanding of West Africa, Nigeria and the Violent Extremist Organisations (VEOs) operating within the country;
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the principle VEO threats in Nigeria and report appropriately

DESIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION :-

  • Multi-Int analytical skillset with proven qualifications in military analysis.
  • Operational experience working in, and with UK Mil J2 staff in deployed locations as well as an ability to function in austere, satellite locations for short-periods.
  • A Developed Vetting (DV) security accreditation is essential prior to arrival and commencement of the role.
  • UK passport holder

  • Qualities in resilience, flexibility as well as an ability to deliver quality products and services under pressure and against strict timelines.
  • The ability to work as part of a busy creative team, as well as willingness to provide support to team members needs be.

REMUNERATION and benefits:-

Starting Monthly Salary
N 1,191,637.86
