Position Title: IT Team Lead / Full Stack Developer.

IT Team Lead / Full Stack Developer job opportunity is available at GS1 Nigeria for individuals who possess relevant qualifications.

Job Description

• The Primary function of this position is to manage the interchange of data between the server and the users.
• Developer must focus on the development of all server-side logic, definition, and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.
• He/she will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by co-workers into the application thereby creating frontend pages that will link with the server-side applications.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:-

• Build and maintain web applications
• Assess the efficiency and speed of current applications
• Write high quality code
• Manage hosting environments
• Quality Assurance Testing
• Troubleshooting and debugging
• Keep abreast of new technologies.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION:-

• Candidate must possess at least a University Degree or its equivalent in Computer Science.
• Have at least 3years experience in software engineering across any industry
• Candidates must have proficiency in the following skills: scripting languages like .Net, .Net Core, C#; React and Angular; MS SQL, MySQL; Version control, such as Git & MS TFS; Knowledge of SOAP and REST web services, creating and consuming APIs; Working with HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Ajax etc; Develop system using Web API Technology
• Good problem-solving skills
• Have strong investigative, critical thinking skills, and High attention to detail
• Embrace change and motivated by Uncertainty
• Good analytical thinking
• Excellent written and oral communication skill
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary.
