Position Title: Light Truck Driver.

Job Station: Lagos State.

INTRODUCTION :-

Light Truck Driver job opportunity is available at SDIL Nigeria for individuals who possess relevant qualifications.

Job Summary

• Drive a light vehicle, such as a truck or van, with a capacity of less than 30,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW), primarily to deliver or pick up merchandise or to deliver packages

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :-

• Verify the contents of inventory loads against shipping papers.
• Drive vehicles with capacities under three tons to transport materials to and from specified destinations
• Maintain records, such as vehicle logs, records of cargo, or billing statements, in accordance with regulations.
• Maintain vehicles in good working condition.
• Report vehicle or equipment malfunctions.
• Perform emergency repairs, such as changing tires or installing light bulbs, fuses, tire chains, or spark plugs.
• Maintain vehicles in good working condition.
• Report delays, accidents, or other traffic and transportation situations to bases or other vehicles, using telephones or mobile two-way radios.
• Report any mechanical problems encountered with vehicles.
• Present bills and receipts and collect payments for goods delivered or loaded.
• Turn in receipts and money received from deliveries.
• Verify the contents of inventory loads against shipping papers.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION :-

• Must be appropriately authorised to drive truckss with valid licences.
• Proficient in the services he renders, and comply with all traffic rules.
• Minimum of 3 years driving experience
• Ability to communicate in writing and speaking of English language.
• Must have minimum of SSCE

REMUNERATION :-

Salaries attractive based on qualification and wealth of experience.
