Position Title: Managing Director.

Job Station: Nigeria.

INTRODUCTION :-

Managing Director job opportunity is available at Sweat Your Asset Derivative Limited for individuals who possess relevant quaifications.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :-

• Provide strategic and operational direction for the effective implementation of the functions of the Zone Management
• Administer, manage and develop the zone;grant and issue licenses to Free Zone Enterprises to carry on approved activities in theFree Port Zone (FPZ).
• Grant and issue permits and other forms of approvals, with the consent of the supervising Authority, to any other business entities or persons having legitimate reasons or business concerns to enter or remain in the FPZ;
• Promote, market and attract investors into the FPZ;
• Administer free zone incentives as provided by the Act and approved by the Authority from time to time;
• Formulate investment promotion policies and strategies in the FPZ;coordinate, regulate and monitor all free zones operations and activities within the FPZ;
• Develop and maintain a free zone registry for the purposes of receiving, keeping and maintaining records of all approved Free Zone Enterprises, licensees and other entities operating within the FPZ including any other records considered necessary to these Regulations or the Zone’s operations from time to time;
• Act as liaison between the Authority and the Free Zone Enterprises;charge and collect management and development fee and other fees as may be approved by the Authority from time to time for the provision of services in the FPZ;
• Issue, review and publish the schedule of fees, charges and tariffs applicable in the FPZ as approved by the Authority from time to time;
• Provide adequate measures for security of lives and properties in the FPZ;take all necessary measures aimed at providing suitable and conducive business environment in the FPZ;
• Perform such duties and functions as may be delegated to the Zone Management by the Authority; andother functions that will give effect to the provisions of theNigeria Export Processing Zones Act and theFree Port Zone Regulations.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION :-

Job Specifications

• Good University Degree
• Min. of 18 years quality work experience; 8 of which must have been spent at Strategic Senior Management level at a Free Trade Zone with full understanding of FTZ regulations and compliance matters.
• Professional qualification e.g. MSc/MBA Management is compulsory
• Advanced knowledge of port operations and management.
• Knowledge of the International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code
• Working Knowledge of port and shipping industry is of critical advantage.
