Position Title: Organizational Development Specialist.

INTRODUCTION:-
Organizational Development Specialist job opportunity is available at the Widows and Orphans Empowerment Organisation (WEWE) for individuals who possess Bachelor’s degree.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:-
Key Duties & Responsibilities for the Organizational Development Specialist is to build the capacity of local Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) across Nigeria in the following areas:
- Organization Vision, mission and core values
- Organization statutory compliance
- Organization Strategic plan, basic policies, procedures, Office and Equipment
- Organizational Resource Mobilization Planning, Resource Mobilization Personnel, Knowledge of the theory of change (ToC)/Value for Money
- Organization proposal writing and development, Project costing and budget development
- Organization fiscal sustainability and revenue generation, Fundraising planning, and Report writing
- CAC Registration Status and Registration with relevant state ministries
- Organization work plan, the process of managing change, documented knowledge of stakeholders, strong partnership management procedures, Sustainability component etc.
- Board governance, leadership training, and succession planning.
- Annual work plan development.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION:-
- A graduate with Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma or its equivalent, with a First- or Second- Class Upper Division (2.1) in any social science or related fields.
- Additional professional certifications or a post-graduate diploma will be an added advantage
- Minimum of Five (5) years experience in Organizational Development duties
- Evidence of experience in reporting writing
- Evidence in carrying our organizational development assessments
- Evidence of experience developing capacity development plans for local CSOs
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, survey development, website landing pages and other useful software.
- Well-organized, with ability to track multiple activities and deadlines
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Widows and Orphans Empowerment Organisation (WEWE) is a not-for-profit, Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) that was founded in 2004 by Josephine Ogazi and Joseph Egwuonwu. WEWE started out as a Community Based Organisation (CBO) with the aim of providing scholarships and economic empowerment to orphans and widows in Okigwe, Imo State and has since expanded its aims and objectives.
