Position Title: Production Manager.

Job Station: Lagos State.

INTRODUCTION :-

Production Manager job opportunity is available at Willers Solutions Limited for individuals who possess Diploma in Food Technology or Engineering.

• We are looking to fill the role of a Production Manager (An Expatriate) in a Peanut, Bakery and Cereal Factory.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :-

• You are responsible to managing all production resources including raw material, supporting material, machines & equipment, personnel and energy at production section, batching section and packing section to be efficient and effective.
• Running and supervising production process according to standard operating procedures to ensure the product produced are consistent, meet the quality standard of safety, product quality, cost, quantity, on time delivery, with maximum yield

DESIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION :-

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of Diploma in Food Technology or Engineering is required.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of cognate experience.

Skills:

• You will need to have:
  • Project management
  • Planning and organisation skills to be able run and monitor the production process;
  • The ability to act decisively and solve staff or equipment-related problems;
  • The capacity to grasp concepts easily;
  • ICT literacy to deal with various technologies and programmes;
  • Attention to detail to ensure high levels of quality.

Key Competencies Required (Personal Competencies):

• Previous experience setting up plants in food sector (Cereals & snacks preferred)
• Knowledge and experience in production and manufacturing processes and techniques.
• Experience of equipment function and required maintenance.
• Knowledge of raw materials and development of required formulations.
• Knowledge of quality systems and standards
• Knowledge of health and safety standards and compliance
• Knowledge of process improvement techniques.
• Knowledge of engineering and technology principles and practices.
