Position Title: Script / Story Writer.

Job Station: Lagos State.

Summary

• We are looking for a Scriptwriter/storyteller who can prepare high-engagement scripts and content for product videos, commercials, shows and other media platforms.
• The candidates should be able to prepare the script/tell the story in such a way that enables readers to envisage the setting, emotion and the way it will work on screen. Often the script will aim to inform, persuade and entertain the intended audience.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:-

• Excellent written communication skills.
• In-depth understanding of Digital and mobile marketing practices.
• Sales, pitches, presentations, persuasion.
• A passion for story, narrative structure and the creative arts.
• A skillful understanding of data reporting and analytics.
• A proven ability to translate business requirements across divisions, languages and cultures.
• Write and edit sales and marketing copies for a variety of projects (including print, web, mobile, video, and social media).
• Produce error-free content that adheres to the brand guidelines.
• Interpret creative direction and adapt points from creative briefs into persuasive copy concepts.
• Propose copy concepts and present underlying strategic thinking to business leaders.
• Work closely with product marketers and designers to brainstorm ideas, create concepts, and develop messaging.
• Conduct thorough research and interviews to understand trends (both industry and lifestyle) to ensure messaging is relatable to target audience.
• Analyse marketing metrics and use results to influence the content.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION:-

• Bachelor’s Degree in any relevant field of study.
• A portfolio of experience in storytelling.
• Combination of attention to detail and creative, strategic thinking.
• Enthusiastic about innovations like crypto and online education.
• Experience working in an innovation startup.
• Must be able to write stories like NASDaily and Project Nightfall.
• Must be very imaginative and creative.

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 – 5 years’ relevant work experience
